Mary Francis Appleby

Mary Francis Appleby (Lloyd), 59, of Loudonville, Ohio, passed away on June 2, 2023, after a short illness at University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center.

Mary was born on June 3rd, 1963, to Beverly (Weston) and Robert E. Lloyd in Flint, Michigan. She grew up in Ashland, Ohio and graduated from Ashland High School in 1982. She continued to live in the area throughout her life.

Mary was a loving and caring person. She enjoyed gardening, riding on Harley Davidson’s, and her dog Roxy.

Mary is survived by her longtime partner John Butler of Loudonville, Ohio, son Cory (Christina) Appleby of Ashland, Ohio, brothers Robert E. (Cheryl) Lloyd of Howard, Ohio and Michael J. (Aimee) Lloyd of Greenwich, Ohio, her sister Barbara A. Castillo of Ashland, Ohio, and her many nephews and nieces who she cared for dearly.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Beverly and Robert E. Lloyd, and sister Cecilia I. (Lloyd) Trent.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
