Marty passed away peacefully at home in Westerville, OH at the age of 65. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA. From an early age Marty developed a passion for all things motorsports. Throughout his life he raced and built everything from go-karts and cars to motorcycles. After his schooling he attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and worked with his brothers at their Dad's service station before enlisting in the Army.
After his service in the Army he moved to Columbus, OH where he put down roots and began his career in mechanics and carpentry. Marty also had the opportunity to work with some of his best friends, doing sound for their bands; these years had some of his fondest memories.
Marty was known as Mr. Fix-It and was always ready to lend a helping hand to his friends and neighbors. He was the brother and friend every person should have in their life.
Preceded in death by his father, Martin John Anderson Sr., mother, Maddie Francis Anderson, step-father, John Haefner and beloved uncle Martin Brassell. He is survived by his brothers: Tommy, Johnny and Mike; daughter Erin (Anderson) Stamper and granddaughter Sidney, son, Benjamin Anderson and granddaughters: Racquel and Zoe; daughter Abigail Anderson and his loving partner Elizabeth Anderson.
Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
