Margaret Lou Traylor-Travis, 70, returned to God on January 19, 2024 while under the care of the Angels at Fair Hope Hospice.
She resided in Lancaster, Ohio. Margaret “Maggie” was born on May 15, 1953 in Portsmouth, Ohio to her mother, Wanda L. (Traylor) Slone and father, Francis E. Traylor.
Preceded in death by her husband Robert Travis, father Francis Traylor, step-mother Delores Traylor, Mother Wanda Slone, step-father Roger Slone, brothers Clinton “Ray” Traylor and Barnie “Lee” Traylor and father to her two sons Daniel Naegele.
Maggie was a graduate of Groveport-Madison High School class of 1971. Shortly thereafter, married and made a loving home for her children. Throughout her life she nurtured and gave her love to anyone who needed it. As times passes and life changes Maggie found the second love of her life and continued to grow her family.
Maggie was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and friend to all. She was a Jokester, loved gossip but cared for everyone she knew. She worried about everyone, which was how she showed her love.
Maggie is survived by her Son’s Christopher (Electa) Naegele and Patrick Naegele. Grandchildren Brittany Loy, Dalton Naegele, Jacob Naegele and Gabriel Naegele. Great Grandchildren Kinsley, Kylie and Wyatt. Brother Phil Traylor and Sisters Pamela (Steve) Gall and Tracie (Roger) McPherson. Many beloved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
In lieu of Funeral Service there will be a Celebration of Life, to be held later for her. The family will make an announcement once that is planned. Margaret will be celebrated for her time here on this earth and the lives she touched for all to rejoice and remember her.
