Lynn T. Malkus

Lynn T. Malkus, 81, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away on November 30th, 2022.

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 26th, 1941 and was the first son of Tom and Thelma Malkus.

Lynn graduated from Garfield Heights High School and enlisted in the Navy at the age of 17. He served on the Coral Sea, an Aircraft Carrier in Attack Squadron 155. He travelled to Japan and Korea in the Navy. After the Navy, he went to electronics school and then went to work for Xerox Corporation for the next 38 years. Lynn enjoyed his toys like is 1969 Mustang Mach 1, his Bayliner boat, his Honda Nighthawk 650 motorcycle, and his Cessna 150 airplane. He obtained his Pilot’s license in 1978 and loved to fly.

Lynn could fix anything and would help anyone in need. He would often say “if man made it, man can fix it”. Lynn enjoyed life and made numerous life-long friends through boating, flying, trap shooting and model airplane flying.

Lynn is survived by his wife Judy of 58 years, his son Scott Malkus (Jennifer), his daughter Stacey Thomas (Rod) and grandsons Tyler Malkus and Connor Malkus.
