May 2, 1950 — January 19, 2022

Linda Sue Keith passed away on January 19th 2022 at the age of 71 due to complications from a COVID-19 infection she contracted during a long hospital stay after suffering a fall and loss of mobility in mid October of 2021. Linda was born on May 2nd 1950 to William Walter Keith and Julianne Wells Keith in Plainwell, Michigan. Linda graduated in the class of 1968 from Plainwell High school, in Plainwell, Michigan. The following year, 1969, Linda began attending Western Michigan University and working for the Kalamazoo Public Library. Linda’s love of literature led her to obtain a degree in Library Sciences from WMU in 1974. Linda instructed water aerobics at the Wyandotte in Ohio while simultaneously working for DFAS (Defense Finance and Accounting Service) as a civilian librarian, and moonlighting with H&R Block. Linda Sue was a longtime member of the Unitarian Universalists church and did her best to live by their principals every day. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her baby brother Meredith Keith, her dear friends who became a second set of parents to her Ken and Mary Bundy, and several beloved cats, whom have been waiting a very long time at the Rainbow Bridge for their “humom”. She made a deep and profound impact on those that she is survived by, including her adoring nieces, Lacey (Tim) Short and Lindsay (Mark) Hughes. As well as her grand nieces Kitara and Olivia, her grand nephews Simon, Kasper and Drefan. Her uncle James Keith, cousins Janet Keith Kivell, Samuel Keith , Daniel Keith and an estranged sister, Dorianne. She is also survived by her chosen family, the decedents of Ken and Mary Bundy, from Harrisville Michigan. She exuberantly shared her love of creating art, cats, electronics, Bob Dylan and the water with all. She leaves behind her six elderly and loving fur babies, Latte, Jenna, Wiley, William, Susie and Chilly. Her service will be held at First Unitarian Universalist Church in Columbus Ohio on Saturday May 7th 2022 at 10:00 a.m. as a late birthday celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, her family is accepting donations of time and resources while they finish the lengthy process of settling her estate.
