Linda Faye Foltz

Linda Faye Foltz, 71, of Newark, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2023, surrounded by loved ones after a long and hard-fought battle with several illnesses.

Linda was born on November 22, 1951, to the late John and Mary (Huffman) Painter of Hanover, Ohio. She is survived by her son, Scott Foltz; son-in-law, Dean Peiffer; sisters, Marlena (Cary) McPherson and Brenda Jordan; brother, David Painter; many nieces, nephews, and close friends, all of whom she adored. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn and LaVonda, and three brothers, Kermit, Jerry Lee, and Ronald Dean.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, dining out, working in her yard, and shopping. She was a 1970 graduate of Licking Valley High School and a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Newark. She worked for General Electric Electromaterials (later Momentive Performance Materials) for over 25 years.

At Linda’s request, no funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Hospice of Central Ohio (www.OhiosHospice.org).
