Libbie Ruth Longfellow, 76, of Cambridge went to be with her Lord & Savior on Tuesday, May 12th, 2020. Libbie was born August 17th, 1943 to Margaret & Milton Longfellow. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Howell & nephews, Bruce (Kim) Longfellow; Dale (Betty) Howell, niece Karen (Rick) Dagenhart; sister-in-law, Roberta Longfellow, nephew Tommy Longfellow & niece Roberta Carter Bouvier; & numerous friends and loved ones, She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Kathryn & Carol, and brother Bob; brother-in-law Allen & nephew Chester Howell. Libbie, a life-long Christian, enjoyed working with the church, was a friend to all and was always ready to help. She was an 8+ gallon blood donor; a volunteer at SEORMC for more than 10 years, acquiring 6,222 hours. She started as a volunteer with Hospice of Guernsey County in 2006. In 2010 she was recognized as ‘Volunteer of the Year’ logging in over 1160 hrs. mostly selling tickets for the OSU basket raffle, which raised over $4000. annually. Her response when honored “I love the Buckeyes and I love Hospice of Guernsey County”. Her dedication to her beliefs benefited many in their times of need. She helped many with travels to doctors appointments, hospital visits, getting groceries, wellness visits or needs she felt a helping hand was required. She enjoyed traveling and sports, especially the Bobcats, Buckeyes, Pirates & Steelers. She worked over 26 years at NCR and four years at Ametek March Electric. No memorial services are planned.
