Lawrence Donald Bolesta

Lawrence Donald Bolesta B: February 28, 1954, Detroit, MI D: September 5, 2021 at Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville, OH. He graduated from Powers Catholic High School in 1972 and returned to school in the early 1990s to earn his associates degree in Electronics from Mott Community College. He spent 30 years with General Motors in both Michigan and Ohio before retiring as a Journeyman Electrician. He retired again after 13 years and a second career as Chief Engineer for Lillibridge in early 2020. Larry was a kind man, loved his cats and all animals gravitated to him. He was an avid gun enthusiast and also enjoyed cooking, as well as every kitchen gadget he could get his hands on. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Donald A. Bolesta. He is survived by his mother, Dolores M. Bolesta; brother, Paul Bolesta (m. Ann); sister, Diane Fondren (m. Steve); daughter, Jessica Ward (m. Joe); granddaughter, Mia Ward; nephew, Don Fondren (m. Mandi); and niece, Emily Bolesta. There will be a small service at a later date for immediate family members only.
