Kevin David Gillenwater

Kevin David Gillenwater, a kind and intelligent man, passed away peacefully from natural causes on May 30, 2023, in Bidwell, Ohio. Born on September 6, 1958, in Chillicothe, Ohio, Kevin was the son of Joyce Taylor Payne of Oak Hill, West Virginia, and the late Jack William Gillenwater, Sr.

Kevin is survived by his loving family, including his mother, Joyce; his brother Jack Gillenwater, Jr. (Kathy) of Houston, Texas; his sister Brenda Ballard (Randall) of Fayetteville, West Virginia; and his brother Todd Gillenwater (Lois) of Bradenton, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack William Gillenwater Sr., and his wife, Rosie Lee Gillenwater.

Growing up in West Virginia, Kevin attended Dunbar High School before furthering his education at Elk Electronics in Crede, WV. His passion for computers and electronics began at an early age and continued throughout his life. Kevin was always eager to help others with their technical problems.

Kevin's intelligence and sense of humor were evident to all who knew him. His wit and charm made him a beloved friend and family member, and he was always ready with a joke or a funny story.

In addition to his love for technology, Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a loyal and supportive brother, son, and friend, always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Kevin's kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
