Kathleen Emler, 65, of Mount Vernon, Ohio died Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at her home surrounded by family who loved her dearly.
Kathy was born May 8, 1957, the daughter of Richard and Reva Armbruster. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1972. She enjoyed teaching others about the Bible and sharing her hope for the future. She was the most kind and loving person you could meet. She enjoyed cross stitching blankets and shirts and sending cards to friends. She loved flowers and plants of every kind and enjoyed having them all around the house. She also loved animals and would never turn down a stray that needed a home. Most of all she enjoyed just spending time with her family and the family pets.
She is survived by her three children: her son, Nathan Emler; her daughter and son in law, Amber and Steve Knox; her daughter and son in law, Mallory and Jonathan Dennison; her three grandchildren, Stevie, Morgan and Penelope Knox and her many friends that were like family.
Her memorial service will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 3:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 189 Mansfield Rd. Mount Vernon, OH.
