Junie

Ronnie “Junie” Dean Trainer, born on October 4, 1946, to Maxine (Pendleton) Hayslett and Everett Clare Trainer, peacefully passed away at home on March 9, 2024, after bravely enduring an extended illness, surrounded by his loved ones.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Linda (James)Trainer, his children Peggy (Jamie) McManis, Michael (Kris) Trainer, and Cindy (Paul Jason) Waugh, as well as several cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ronnie is also survived by his sisters Kim (Trainer) Caudill and Sandy (Trainer) Conn.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister, Anna (Trainer) Saunders, and his brother, David Trainer. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.

In his professional life, Junie dedicated 40 years of service as a truck driver and retired from Walker Equipment.

Junie held a deep love for antique cars. His appreciation for classic automobiles was evident in his enthusiasm for attending and participating in car shows.

His courageous battle against his extended illness reflects his strength and resilience. He is leaving behind a legacy of perseverance and love that will forever be cherished by those who knew him.

Junie will be cremated to honor his personal wishes. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date to commemorate his life.
