Jonathan Oliver

Jonathan R. Oliver, born in Harden County Ohio September 8, 1957 to Myrtle Inez (Turner) Oliver and Freeman Franklin Oliver (both deceased) passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at home. John was a sensitive and compassionate person who loved children and animals. An excellent mechanic, John could often be heard humming a tune while he tinkered with an engine or worked to solve a mechanical puzzle. Very kind and generous with his time, John was always there to lend a hand to friends and family in need. John is mourned by his companion of 21 years, Cathie Collet, and her 5 children and 2 grandchildren, as well as his daughters Amanda Oliver Vest, Nicole Oliver Lawrence, Heather Oliver Lawrence, and Whitney Oliver Black; and 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and his brother Frank Oliver and sister Lisa Gardner.
