John Samual Shimizu

John Samual Shimizu, 74, of Dublin, Ohio passed away on Tuesday June 1st, 2021 at Riverside Hospital after a long battle with Covid. Born November 11th, 1946 in Japan to Yuju Shibuya (Father) & Saku Shimizu (Mother), John served in Japan's Air Force and worked until he immigrated to Placentia, California where he met his wife to be, Helen Beckmann. They married in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 30th, 1990 and relocated to Columbus, Ohio where they raised (3) sons. He became a Naturalized U.S. Citizen on December 14th, 2005, traveled extensively & worked as a pilot and translator for many Japanese business interests here in the U.S. until his death. He loved flying & telling stories of his homeland in Japan and also enjoyed time, especially Christmas, with his wife's extended family in Kentucky. He made friends easily, was always a courteous gentleman, and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Helen, of (30) years, their sons, John Robert, twins Dylan & Brandon, daughter-in-law Kelise and (1) grand-daughter Jessica.
