John H Cordell

John H. Cordell (76), a proud Veteran of the United States Army, passed away peacefully on July

15, 2023 with his loving family by his side. He was born December 18, 1946 to Phyllis and Walter

Cordell in Kenton, Ohio.

John was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his

siblings, Joe [Jackie], Walter, Dan [Linda], Raymond [Debbie], Mark, Carol [Ed] Foreman, Brenda

[Keith] Gattshall, and Belinda Scheff. John also leaves behind five children Johnny [Joan], Kimberly

[Tim] Meade, Angela [Justin] Johnson, Heather [Keith] Preston, and Tiffany [Cory] Dale. John was

blessed with 15 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Phyllis and Walter, his siblings Charlie, Randy, Bernice Hutt,

Sheryl Turner, and granddaughter Marley Rayne Johnson.

John loved to make sure people didn’t go without. He spent much of his time delivering bread to those

in need.

“It’s not goodbye…it’s see you later,” Dad.
