John Godfrey Brown

John Godfrey Brown Sr., age 82, passed away on December 2, 2020 in Columbus Ohio. He was born on October 28, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by Eloise Travis(mother), Jay Brown (father), John Travis(step father), Christine Brown (sister) and his beloved wife Rosetta R. Mourning his passing are his children Cynthia Jones, John G. Brown Jr., James G. Brown, siblings Joanne Hatcher, Mary Lonely, Darlene Madison, Gloria Russell, Tyrone Travis, 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He served proudly in the USAF and Army Reserve for over 8 years. Retired from the U.S. Post Office in 1999. Always helped others when he could, enjoyed several different card playing games and time with friends and family.
