Joanne R. Kemmerer

Joanne Ruth Kemmerer, 85, of Canal Winchester, OH has passed away on July 9, 2023. She will be sorely missed.

She was born on 5/9/1938 in Toledo Ohio and was the daughter of the late Raymond W. Tuck & Florence G. (Mowry) Tuck.

She is preceded in death by her late husband Kermit R. Kemmerer, her son Dan Alan Toth, and her parents Raymond W. & Florence G Tuck.

She went to Waite High School in Toledo Ohio. She worked at the telephone company as a PBX operator, worked many other jobs as an executive secretary & office administrator, and retired from OSU Hospitals in 1998. She loved her cats over the years – Skeeter, Mouser, and Princess Shoo Shoo. She liked going to craft shows, shopping at Kohl’s, lunch at Panera, playing Bingo, pizza, listening to music, baking cookies, and having family time. She was a great listener, devoted, and a very strong woman that could sometimes be stubborn and bull-headed 😊 but we loved her anyways.

She is survived by one brother Raymond E Tuck, her daughter, Tammy (Eric) Acker, and her son Steven J. (Val) Toth. Grandchildren Aaron Fisher (Tabytha Howard), Lauren Fisher (Mikey Sokol), Kristi (Nick) Giovanoli, Emily Toth (Alisha Desantis), and Steve Toth. Great-Grandchildren Silas, Sadie, and Dante. She also is survived by her cat Princess Shoo-Shoo.

We chose to have a private celebration of life with family. In lieu of flowers, you may contribute to Capital City Hospice, who were wonderful during her final days, or any charity of your choice in her memory.

She will be missed.
