Jesse Wallace Bussard

September 27, 1971 — September 25, 2021

Jesse Wallace Bussard was born September 27, 1971 in Columbus, Ohio; departed Earth on September 25 2021. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother Linda Joanne Kabealo (Flores). He is survived by his step-father Mark Kabealo, his father Patrick Bussard and his favorite Aunt Mary (Dow) Harvey. His death follows shortly after the death his favorite Uncle Mike Bussard, from which he learned so much and they shared a love for playing music. Jesse was a larger-than-life big brother to many siblings including Jennifer (Tony) Durbin, Sarah (Nathan) Kabealo and Charlie (Emily) Kabealo. He always included his family and many friends in all of his adventures. He was accompanied by his loyal dude, his bestest friend Twelve, for most of those adventures for 15 years. He is certainly happy to be reunited with his Crusty Old Dog awaiting him at the Rainbow Bridge. Jesse was a graduate of Buckeye Valley High School, Class of 1988. He soon joined the Army and served in the Gulf War, Desert Storm during his 4 year enlistment. He fought on the front lines with the Water Purification Unit providing fresh water to all of the troops. His family couldn't have been more proud of him. Jesse was a "Master of Cermonies" as our Mother always joking said. He left an impression on everyone he ever met. He was the life of the party, always entertaining. His many talents included drumming (on anything that made noise), music production, being the DJ, gardening, cooking and being humorous. He never met a stranger and was welcoming to everyone. Words can't describe how much Jesse will be missed. Most of us will never be able to watch The Simpsons on TV again without thinking of Jesse using a Homer, Bart or Moe reference, but those are some of the many memories we are blessed with of Jesse. Jesse, you've left us with a hole in our hearts but you now have the peace that you deserve. Services will be posted on social media at a later date for his loved ones. His ashes will be spread together with his mother and uncle Mike's ashes at an ideal resting place chosen by the family.
