Jeffrey Douglas Cales

Jeff, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on Friday February 28, 2025. He is predeceased by his father James Sr., and his wife Shari Vanhorn Perna Cales. He is survived by his mother Shirley Stirling Cales; siblings Dawn Cales, Jim [Missy] Cales, Angela [Butch] Harvey and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Stepsons Daniel, Josh, Andy [Jamie], and Adam Perna. Loving fiancée Jamie McKenzie and her children Dylan, Ray and Lizzy [who called him their Step-Jeff].

He enjoyed playing guitar, going fishing with his mom, riding motorcycles and spending time with friends and family.

Jeff was employed as a truck driver for H.T. Hackney [formerly J.F. Walker] for over 31 years.

Family and friends will gather at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Bingo Hall, 3800 Westerville Rd, Columbus OH 43224, Sunday March 30, 2025, 4-7 pm.
