Jay Irvin Horner 66 of Mansfield, Ohio joined his father in Heaven on Sept. 26, 2024. He was born on June 17,1958 in Mansfield, Ohio. He is the second son of Janice Horner and the late John Horner.
He is proceeded in death by his father John and survived by his mother Janice, his wife Anna (Fava) Horner, his three children Jacob, Jesse (Carrie) and Audri (Steve), his and his grandchildren, Tyson, Mason, and Avery Storms, Alexis (Mark) Oglesbee, and Mason Jacobs. He has three surviving siblings John "Duke" (Anica) Horner, Sandy (Jeff) Hall, Tim (Sue) Horner and numerous nieces and nephews. He has three surviving brother in laws, Frank Fava ( Charlene), Dino Fava ( Pam), Tony Fava (Tyana) and one sister in law, Linda Fava.
Jay loved entertaining friends and family, having cookouts, listening to music, and making everyone laugh with his "Dad" jokes. He was always quick to lend a helping hand when needed as he was a very knowledgeable handyman. He loved watching the Cleveland Browns. He was kind, caring and will be truly missed by everyone that knew him.
A small private family gathering and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
