Jacob Stewart

Jacob Chester Stewart was well known and liked by everyone he met. Jacob retired after 23 years as a certified Heavy Duty Mechanic for the City of Columbus. Jacob loved his family and friends. He will be missed deeply. God called him home on August 18, 2021. Jacob was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 28, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Lawrence Jacob Stewart; sons, Jacob Jr. and Michael Stewart; and brother, Mac Trout. He leaves to cherish his wife of 63 years, Patricia Stewart; son, Craig Stewart; daughter, Theresa Stewart; special daughter, Michele Nelms; sister, Shirley; brother, Melvin; grandchildren, Latasha, Laquawn, Brittany, Devin, D'Ache, Craig Jr, Kymbra, Antonio, and Alvin; a host of great-grandchildren, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews, cousins, other family members, and best friend, Donald Miller. He loved all of you guys!!
