Harry "Busta" August

Harry “Busta” August, 69, of Columbus, OH passed away on January 13, 2022. He was born on June 23, 1952 in New Orleans, LA and was the son of the late Edward August Sr. and Jeanette Isaac August. He was also preceded in death by his parents Edward August Sr. and Jeanette Isaac August, sisters Ann A. Douglas and Tammy A. Fisher, brother Edward “Joey” August and grandson Christan D. Populis Jr. Harry was employed at Cytec Industries as a chemical operator for 34 years before retiring. He enjoyed watching sports and old westerns. He played chess with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed eating at different restaurants. He also enjoyed telling stories from his childhood, using his favorite words “whatever you know”. Harry will be missed by family and friends. He leaves behind his wife Anna. Children: Brent Populis (Marisol), Christan Populis (Lorelle) and Farrah August. Grandchildren: Marielisa Populis, Camdyn Populis, Elijah Green, Kymani Populis, Pierre-Maurice Harris Jr., Naveah Populis, Julianna and Zayiel Manzo. Sisters: Eloise Moll, Mary Etta Alexander (Nelson) Rozena Salvant (Mike) and Jane August. Sister-in-laws: Arlene Stipe, Joycelyn Smith, Joan Bartholomew (Donald), Cheryl Bastain and Flora August. Brother -in-law Kerry Roussel. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
