Gregory Allen Freed

Gregory Allen Freed, age 52, was born April 20, 1968 in Hammond, Indiana. He went to Heaven December 11, 2021 surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by father, Kenneth Eugene Freed, and mother, Wanda Jane (Halstead) Freed. Greg was a maintenance man and painter. He loved the outdoors, especially the river. He loved his family and friends. Greg will be greatly missed. His heart for people was bigger than life itself. One of the last things he did was get saved and baptized with his daughter in April in the river behind his brother's house. To Greg, that was his greatest achievement. He leaves behind his loving wife of 20 years, Lora (Gruber) Freed; daughters, April Freed, Amanda Freed, Kristina Lupher, Julia Freed; brother and sister in law, Kerry and Tammy Freed; brother in law and sister, Charles and Melissa (Freed) Bailey; sister, Melinda Freed; nine nephews; and three nieces. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Central Ohio.
