Gordon Creel Bayles Jr

Gordon Creel Bayles Jr, 84, of Dublin, OH passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Dublin Methodist Hospital. He was born in Parkersburg, WV on October 26, 1937 to Mary and Gordon Bayles Sr, both deceased. He graduated from Parkersburg H.S. and Shenandoah University in VA. He was a teacher at Strasburg H.S. where he coached wrestling and helped coach the football team…the mighty Rams. He was also a pastor in Tom’s Brook, VA. He moved to Columbus, Ohio in 2003, where he lived a wonderful life with friends and family, of which there were many. He loved his church, Amlin UMC and it’s members. He was preceded in death by a son Terry, and 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He leaves behind his wife Helen, 4 sons, their wives,11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind a sister Carol Husk of Belpre, OH, brother John of Charleston, WV, nieces and nephews plus many special friends in Virginia and Columbus. He was so loved and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is now resting peacefully in the precious Hands of God.
