Frances Patti McCleary

Frances Patti (Pat) McCleary, 94, of Gahanna, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on April 8,2025. She was born July 12,1930 in Columbus, Ohio to Frank and Clara Murray. Preceding her in death are her husband John Steele McCleary, grandson James Wilburt McCleary, and her siblings Charles Rowland, Marybelle Current, Maybelle Wyman and Wilton Rowland.

Her children Mark McCleary (K-Ann), Teresa Dennis (Paul), and John McCleary will greatly miss her, along with her beloved granddaughters Stacey Denton, Amy Dennis (Jarrod) and Carrie Dennis. She also leaves behind three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A tenacious student of The Ohio State University, Pat would later become one of the first female Realtor Brokers in Athens, Ohio. While in Athens, she also enjoyed volunteering with the Junior Women's League and organizing Cotillion dances. Her many hobbies included tennis, golf, painting, and traveling the world. In 1985, she moved to St Petersburg, Florida to enjoy the sunshine with her much-cherished community of classy ladies. Pat loved gathering family and friends to celebrate special moments with delicious food and spirits. She will be remembered as the fun-loving hostess!
