Floyd Lester Hart

Floyd Lester Hart, “Les”, of Athens, OH left us on January 5th, 2020. He went to heaven to say hello to all the ones we love. Les was born on July 18, 1982 and was the son of Fred Hart Jr. and Iris Rutter, both of Athens, OH. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Mary Hart of Athens OH; and Ray and Pat Rutter of Athens, OH. He is survived by his parents, Fred Hart and Iris Rutter of Athens, OH; sister, Jessica Hart; children, Hayden and Sierra Spears, both of Athens, OH; and the love of his life, Brandi Spears. Les graduated Athens High School and Tri-County Carpentry School at the age of 17 with honors. He loved to ride ATV’s and motorcycles and this love was passed on to his kids. They all spent a lot of time riding around the property together. Les was a good father, brother, son, uncle, and very good at his craft, carpentry. His children and family were most important to him. He loved them with everything he had and gave all he could give. Those who knew Les would describe him as goofy and soft hearted. Les has left us way too soon. He may be gone from our touch, but we will always see him in our memories and our thoughts. He will truly be missed by his family and friends. Brandi Spears was the love of his life. Brandi gave Les the best gift in life, his children Hayden and Sierra. Les has left an empty spot in our hearts and will be missed until we see him again. Les loved his sister, Jessica; and nephew, Skyler. Growing up, Les and Jessica would fight like cats and dogs but would protect each other with all they had. Les has always been close to his family. The Hart family said a private farewell to Les on January 10th, 2020. He was cremated at Leaf Cremation of Columbus OH. We would like to thank all of our family and friends for reaching out with their special memories and stories. We will love and miss you Les.
