Farrell Frank Hart

August 9, 1943 — March 24, 2025

Farrell Frank Hart, lovingly called Butch, was born August 8th, 1943 in Portland, Maine, passed away March 23, 2025 peacefully in his sleep. He never married nor had children of his own, but loved all kids and would spoil them relentlessly.

He loved music, oldies of course. You would frequently find him coloring while listening to some old-timey country. If you sat down, he would tell you of his adventures in the U.S. Navy (embellished, of course), traveling the country and gossiping about whatever was juicy. He loved his family more than life itself, and wished he could spend more time with his.

Uncle Butch was the most loving, caring, selfless, stubborn and bullheaded man I ever knew. Taking care of him in his last years was the greatest honor and privilege I could have. He was and will always be my heart. He loved everyone and just wanted to make people happy.

Frank is survived by his family and caregivers, Carole Trusler, Shawn Comston, Jason Trusler, Mia Trusler and Raymond Comston. He had four siblings-Joyce Cooperider, Alice Tatman, Sue Davy and Stephen Hart. And many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. Frank made friends everywhere he went. He will be severely missed.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
