Eric Hardiesty

Eric Hardiesty, age 69, of Columbus, passed away of natural causes in his home on Dec. 23, 2023. He was born on July 12, 1954 in Columbus, OH. Eric was preceded in death by his parents, William and Loretta Hardiesty, and his brother, Marc. He is survived by his brothers, Hal and Alan. Eric was a graduate of East High School and Columbus State Community College. He was an IT professional for over 45 years working for City National Bank, Anthem BC/BS, and Safelite Auto Glass.

Eric enjoyed playing tennis and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Buckeyes. He loved collecting records and books. Although he was a private person, Eric had many friends who considered him family, and with whom he celebrated holidays, birthdays, graduations, and weddings.

Eric’s legacy is sketched in the hearts of all those he touched. Remembered not only for his kindness and willingness to help others, Eric will be cherished for his infectious sense of humor and example of how to live and love life.
