Edwina Kay Platter

Edwina Kay Platter, age 81, passed away on July 14, 2021 in The Plains, Ohio. She was born on December 26, 1939 in Pomeroy, Ohio to the late Edward Stiles and Eloise (Surface) Stiles. She graduated from Middleport High School, and went on to own and operate Kay's Beauty Shop in Middleport, Ohio. Kay and her late husband enjoyed frequent trips to their condo in Ormond Beach, Florida. In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Platter Jr; sisters, Barbara Fry and Nina Craddock. She is survived by her brother, Roger Stiles; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Kay will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
