Edward William Ward Jr

Edward William Ward Jr., April 14, 1963 – June 9, 2023. Proceeded in death by Edward William Ward Sr., and Dorothy Jean (Johnson) Ward. He left a daughter Erica Maria Ward, Columbus Ohio, granddaughter Aubrey Martin Canton Ohio. Sisters Ethel Lee White (Aaron) Westerville Ohio, Marsha Donovan (Garry) Reynoldsburg Ohio, Joann Harris (Jerome) Blacklick Ohio, Katrina Taylor (Lloyd) Racine Wisconsin. Brothers Bruce Howard Ward Sr., Gary Indiana, Michael Eugene Ward Sr., Pickerington Ohio, Vincent Dion Ward Sr. (Karen), Richmond Virginia, Timothy Hunt Hammond Indiana, Anthony Hunt, Indianapolis Indiana. A long list of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Growing up Edward loved the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls, and his favorite Chicago Bears. Edward loved his family; he enjoyed working the grill at cook outs. He also read anything he could get his hands on, he would debate you on politics, sports, or current events. He loved discussing any topic you could think of, more so he enjoyed his family “his own words”. His aunt Gladys Culp was more of a second mother, helping to raise him from a young boy to a man…she played a vital part in his life. His cousin Mary Stidman, she was more of a sister than she was a cousin.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at the Normandy Apt party house, 315 E Long St, Columbus Ohio, 43215 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, all are welcomed.
