Edward F. Bedford

Edward F. Bedford, age 85 was born to the late Edward A. Bedford and Mary Stuber Bedford on October 30,1938. He passed away peacefully at Walnut Hills Retirement Center on October 16, 2024. Ed was the beloved husband of Kathleen Ann Bedford (nee Bouman) and father to Sharon Douglas, wife of Dan. Sharon and Dan faithfully supported their parents and brothers. Ed was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen, and his two sons, Edward (Eddie) and William (Bill). Ed was grandfather to Zoe and Lucia (Lucy) Douglas and was very proud of their accomplishments. 

Ed is survived by his two sisters, Lynn Nocifora (Mike) and Jean Huber (Peter). His brother Robert (Barb) was a loving brother and preceded him in death. He was helped enormously by his dear friends Jeanne and Wayne Stuntz. 

Ed was a graduate of Western Reserve University and operated a number of companies during his career. He was a lifelong Catholic and was passionate about the needs of the unborn. Alongside his wife, Ed cared, within their home, for his two sons who both lived with Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Peter’s Church at 379 South Crawford Street in Millersburg, Ohio on November 11, 2024 at 11am. A private interment will take place at Holy Cross cemetery at a later date.
