Douglas Allen Adams

Douglas Allen Adams, 63, of Grove City Ohio passed away Wednesday January 12, 2022 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus OH following a medical emergency. Douglas was born in Columbus OH on September 1, 1958 to Wendell L. Adams and Dorothy Locke Adams (Maynard). Doug is survived by his father, Wendell L. (Dorothy) Adams; his sister Becky (Greg) Cooney of TN, siblings by marriage Jan Van Fossen, Sue VanFossen and Max VanFossen and their extended families; nieces Lisa (Shane) Duke, Etna OH, Laura Rikard -Kettering OH; Chris (Kellie) Cooney of AZ, Angela Ault of Kettering OH; Angela Adams and Stephanie Adams of Ashville OH; Grand and Great Grand-nieces/nephews Gary, Tory, Stephen, Madison, Devan, Dylan, Lindsay, Lauren, Gage, Tristen, Haley, Dalton, Addison, Mason, Memory and Tobi. He is also survived by his sister-in-laws Betty Adams and Tami Asher and the children and grandchildren of Ernest Kim (Tami) Asher. Doug is survived by Adams first cousins Greg (Louise) Adams, Pam (Walter) Permenter, Wayne (Linda) Adams, Teri Adams, Kay Adams, Glenna (John) Fessel, Scott Griffith, Tina (Rob) Barch, Gloria Elgin, Don Collier and Locke first cousins John (Sylvia) Locke, Roy Locke, Steve (Marilyn) Locke, Hazel (Dave) Williams, Martha Rine, Mark Rine, Marvin Rine and their extended families. Doug was preceded in death by his grandparents and his loving mother Dorothy Locke Maynard, his brother Wendell Michael Adams, his nephew Wendell Michael Adams II and brother Ernest Kim Asher. A memorial service is planned for Saturday 01-29-2022 at the Masonic Lodge, 651 Groveport Pike, Canal Winchester Ohio with family and friends gathering to share their stories and condolences from 11:00 am with service at 1:00 PM. Fellowship after the service will continue for a short while with food provided by carry in by family and friends. Coffee, iced tea, water and all table service will be provided. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the organization of your choice. Flowers can be delivered to the Masonic Lodge, 651 Groveport Pike, Canal Winchester the morning of the service after 9:00am.
