Doris Elizabeth Davis

Doris Elizabeth Davis, 78, of Athens, Ohio passed away on December 28th, 2022.

She was born January 11th, 1944, in Ohio, and was the daughter of the late George and Elsie McFarland. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wayne Davis.

She was a beautiful soul who lived out her days in the pursuit of goodness. She was always searching for ways to help people, lend a smile, or just listen. Her love for others and her sense of community was inspiring.

Doris will be greatly missed by her 8 grandkids: Joshua Paulin, Jeffery Paulin, Joel Paulin, Jessica Saddler, Jolene Mathena, Ashley Davis, Andrea Davis, and Park Davis; 5 children: Juli Paulin (Joseph Paulin), George Davis (Stacy Davis), Jonathan Davis, Christine Davis, and Joshua Davis (Jennifer Davis); and her 3 siblings: Stanley McFarland, Charles McFarland (Garland McFarland), and Fred McFarland; and her furry best friend Pebbles.

There will be an informal Celebration of Life in Doris’ name on January 14th, 2023, at 2:00pm. It will be held at her daughter’s, Juli Paulin, residence.
