Doris Elizabeth Bouman

"I never truly learned what the words 'I miss you' were, until I reached for my mother's hand and it wasn't there." Doris Elizabeth Bouman, of Clinton, PA, was taken from us suddenly on Saturday, September 11th, 2021. She was born in Wilmington, DE to Woodard Chandler (deceased) and Barbara Chandler. Doris was raised, however, by her uncle and aunt, Joseph (deceased) and Doris Bewley, whom she was named after. She was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Reedy. Dea, as she was known to those closest to her, will be sorely missed by all. She is survived by: her partner of 26 years, Jeff Rupich, of Oakdale, PA; her daughter, Heather Salek, of Chicago, who is also the mother of her three beautiful granddaughters; and her son, Daniel Bouman, of Aliquippa, PA. DEA also has a number of siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews that mourn her loss.
