Donna Maria Parnell

Donna Maria Parnell, 68, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 12th. She was born January 3, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio to the late John and Mary Lopes. 

Donna was an Elder at Faith Comes by Hearing Christian Center. She enjoyed fulfilling her service in the ministry. A woman of God, she was loved by many. Donna loved crafting, making holiday decor, and was gifted in sewing. She enjoyed making clothes for her children and blankies for her grandchildren, listening to gospel music, and watching "Dog the Bounty Hunter".

Donna is preceded in death by her father, John Lopes, Jr; mother, Mary Lopes; brother, John “Terry” Lopes, III; nephew, DeAngelo Cummings; granddaughter Danielle Parnell; great-granddaughters Elizabeth Rutland, and My’Royal Bennett. 

Donna leaves to cherish her memory her sisters Vicki Lopes, Cindy Lopes, and Lynn Lopes; Her children Rachel Parnell, Audrey (Lamont) Napier, and Stephen (Jessica) Parnell; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, including her Little Bestie – Zipporah ~ aka ~ Zippadoo, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, church family, and friends. 

Donna has chosen to be cremated with a celebration of life for friends and family at a date and time yet to be determined.
