Donald Victor Wooten, 90, of Marysville, Ohio, born November 22, 1933, passed away January 31, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio.
Son of Ernest Scott and Dorothy (Farrin) Wooten.
Preceded in death by sister Myrtle (Cathy) Snyder, wife Vera Jean (Sowers), and granddaughter Amber (Foreman) Cole.
Donald’s career was in masonry construction and his work helped create many of the landmark structures in Columbus. He was an extremely talented artist and had a love of drawing and painting. He also greatly enjoyed playing cards. Donald had a unique sense of humor and was known to be quite a jokester. Donald served in the Navy, and travelled the world during his service.
He is survived by his children Lindy Boyer, Juliann Foreman, Craig Wooten, Donna Jean Simpson, grandchildren Scott, Tyler, Shawn, Michael, Joshua, Dustin, and several great grandchildren.
