Donald Joseph Ucker

Donald Joseph Ucker from Columbus passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on January 9, 2023 at the age of 82. Donald was born in Columbus Ohio to Carl and Clara Bell (Watsewah) Ucker, and is preceded in death by his parents, brother Clayton L Ucker, and granddaughter Chelsea Wright Volker.

Survivors include his wife, sister Carol Sawyer of Manhattan KS, daughter Trina (Jason) Arbaugh of Oak Hill OH, Debra, Donald, and Donna Jo. One son and daughter from an earlier relationship, and stepdaughter Cheryl Harrison from Dry Ridge KY. Grandchildren Lindsey (Andrew) Edwards Blue Ridge GA, Ethan Chapman Pawleys Island SC, Joseph Chapman Pawleys Island SC, and Rebecca (Ryan) Chapman Dry Ridge KY. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, great grandchildren, and many more.

Donald served in the US Navy. He retired from CSX Transportation, and held several part time jobs to keep busy. He loved fishing, camping, golf, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by many.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor for family and friends, to be announced.
