Donald Gregory King

Donald Gregory King, 61, of Chillicothe, passed peacefully after a short illness on June 19, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio. Greg was born March 18, 1961, in Chillicothe, Ohio to Donald Jr. and Nicole (Biegocka) King. Surviving are the children he loved, Alyssa (Austin) Rapp, of Portland, Oregon, and Phillip King, of Kingston; parents, Don and Nicole King, Mohawk, New York; sisters, Jennifer (Joel) Rinderknecht, Hyeres, France, Jacqueline (Mark) Lining, Elwood, Indiana, Rachel (Phillip) Janaka, Springhill, Florida, and Rebecca (Michael) Borde, Pontcharra, France. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He found great comfort in reconnecting with his cousin, David Bailey. He was predeceased by a brother, Philip, and his grandparents, Don Sr., and Mary Lou (Hart) King. Greg was a member of Local 24 Sheet Metal Workers union where he was a sheet metal journeyman. He retired in 2018 after working within the union for 32 years. Greg enjoyed traveling, drawing, rooting for the Cincinnati Bengals with E, getting lost in nature with Babe, and was a fabulous cook, taking recipes and making them his own. He always supported his children’s interests. No formal services will be observed. Memorial contributions can be made to the Human Fund.
