Donald Fredrick Krage Sr

Mr. Donald Fredrick Krage Sr., 52 of Columbus, Ohio, passed away April 2, 2022 at his I residence, with is son by his side, after a brief, but valiant fight against cancer. He was born on April 14, 1969 to Kathleen (Yost) and Russell Krage, of Elryia, OH. He was proceeded in death by his father Russell Krage, his paternal and maternal grandparents, his Uncles John Krage and Pat Krage. He graduated from Elyria high school in 1987 he had a passion for working with his hands, spending long hours working on cars and remodeling his house. His children remember his artistic ability fondly, he would often draw pictures for them to color as children. He would often play video games with them, as well as take them to the park to feed ducks. He was first and foremost dedicated to his children. He was employed at Midwest fabricating for 17 years, where he worked until his death. He is survived by his mother Kathleen (Yost) Krage of Elyria, OH, sister Julia (Krage) Vanpelt of Hillsboro, OH, brother Albert Krage of North Ridgeville, OH, girlfriend Lisa Whitmire of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by four loving children who miss there dad very much, sons Donald Krage II of Lagrange, KY, Jeremy Krage of Louisville, KY Joshua Krage of Louisville, KY, daughter Cristina Krage of Lagrange, KY and one granddaughter, who he adored, Hayden Krage of Lagrange, KY. A host of family and friends also mourn his loss. At this time there will be no service, but a memorial will be held at a later date.
