Donald Alan Hemmerly

Donald Alan Hemmerly, 65, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on May 5, 2022. He was born November 21, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio and was the son of the late Dean Sr. and Bonadine Hemmerly. He was preceded in death by his father Dean Hemmerly Sr., mother Bonadine Hemmerly, brother Edgar Hemmerly, twin sister Donna Ann Hemmerly, step-mother Phyllis Hemmerly, and step-brother Jeff Corbett. He was a graduate of Brookhaven High School class of 1975. He retired from Ohio Department of Transportation. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with friends and family. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his daughter Donna (Hemmerly) Roshon, grandson Grady A. Roshon, daughter Deana (Hemmerly) Price, granddaughters Kylin and Keirynn Price, brothers Dean Hemmerly Jr. and Bill (Paula) Hemmerly., and step-sister Diana (Louie) Brnusak. Celebration of life to be held on May 21, 2022 beginning at 1:00pm at Gabby’s Tavern located at 1887 Tamarack Cir N, Columbus, OH 43229.
