Diane Irene Forsyth

Diane Irene Maier Forsyth, 67, of Lancaster Ohio, passed away on January 3, 2022 in Lancaster Ohio. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30am Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Faith Memorial Church - 2610 W Fair Ave, Lancaster, OH 43130. Diane was born in Columbus Ohio to Aloysius J. Maier and Patricia Ann Maier on January 1, 1955. She went to school in Inkster Michigan. She married James Forsyth on December 3, 1983 in Wayne County Michigan. She worked as a Nurses Aide for 17 years. She was involved in the choir at Faith Memorial Church, Gideons International Auxiliary and has a beautiful singing voice. She was a very loving, kind and faithful person. She preached the Gospel wherever she went. Diane is preceded in death by her father Aloysius J. Maier and her mother Patricia Ann Curtis. Diane is survived by her husband of 38 years James Forsyth. Her brothers Timothy Maier (Denise) and David Maier. Nephews Danny Maier and Jason Maier. Great nephew Jack Maier. Her stepmother Evelyn (Babs) Maier. Her stepson James Forsyth Jr. (Ann), stepdaughter Sharee Forsyth and stepson Jay Forsyth. Her step-grandchildren Lauren Satterfield (Rich), James Forsyth III (Rachel), Erik Forsyth (Morgan). Maria Grey (Kyle) and Benjamin Cantrell Jr. (Emma). Her step great grand-daughter Quinn R. Satterfield and her step great grandson Luke D. Satterfield. Memorials/donations may be given to the Gideons International Auxiliary.
