Deborah Irene Speaks

Deborah Irene Speaks, January 4, 1970 – December 13, 2020 Deborah was born in Springfield, Ohio on January 4, 1970 to Stephen and Marsha Speaks, In her early teens she moved to Gahanna, Ohio to live with her father Stephen, she gradulated from Gahanna Lincoln High School. Deborah married and had two Children, Shawn Smith and Tiffney Smyers, she has 3 grandchilden with Tiffney; Oliver Peyton Lewis, Odin Lee Norman Lyons and Knova Aphrodite Marie Lyons. She was not married at the time of her passing. Deborah had a brave fight with Stage 4 cancer for nearly 6 years, the last 3 years she lived with her father Stephen in Gahanna as she fought the cancer with the help of the OSU James Cancer Hospital, the cancer claimed her peacefully in her sleep in the Laurels of Gahanna nursing home with Heartland Hospice caring for her. Debby is survived by her brother David Howard Speaks, Her mother Marsha I Gladman was murdered some 20 years ago.
