David Lawrence Phillips

Born October 19, 1954 in Barton, New York. Departed this earth on Friday, February 28, 2025, at his home in Ashville, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Baily Otis Phillips of West, Va and his mother, Bertha (Bert) Mae Phillips (Stidham) of Kentucky.

He is survived by his brother Jim Wheeler, nephew Bob wheeler. Children Michele Phillips, Ashley Phillips (Nate Novak), David Phillips and Tyler Phillips. Step children, Stephanie Hale and Sean Goodrich. Grandchildren, Malena Phillips, Steven Anderson and Jaxson Ramsey. In addition, Dave was blessed to be survived by many other family members and life long friends.

Over the years, Dave has remained passionate about his love for engines and entrepreneurship, owning various mechanic related shops. You could always find him in his shed tinkering around with something. There was nothing he couldn't fix. He relocated his family to the country, where he would remain through all of life's adventures. His love for his children always outshined his long work days. Daves talent for karaoke or entertaining never went unnoticed and gained him many friends. His jokes were those that few forgot nor ever will. He will truly be missed by his children.
