Darrell "Chuck" Lewis

Darrell Charles (Chuck) Lewis, 66 of Buckeye Lake. Passed away Wednesday January 13, 2021. Born June 24th 1954 in Newark, son of the late Edgar and Audry (Peck) Lewis. A graduate of Newark High School class of 1972, he was Employed by Communicolor and RR Donnelly for a total of 32 years in the printing industry. A proud member of the Master Printer Association, Newark Masonic Lodge, Eagles of Buckeye Lake, and The Moose of Thornville. He loved to bass fish, go hunting, watch his Ohio State Buckeyes/Cleveland Browns, and was a huge Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan. He was a hard working, loving father, grandfather, and a friend to whomever he met. The world is a little darker without him, and he will be greatly missed. Chuck is survived by his 2 daughters, Tricia (Shawn) Seevers and Tracy (Seth) Payne; 7 grandchildren, Trent (Laura) Lewis, Trevor Lewis, Harley (Austin) Orum, Makinzy Payne, Brooklynn Payne, Gadge Payne, Makayla Payne; and 1 soon-to-be great-grandson, Beau Orum. Chuck also leaves behind his best friend and companion, Heidi girl, his loving loyal dog. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by Vera Cassidy, Edgar (Sonny) Lewis, Charlotte Cramer, Rolland Lewis, and Cynthia Boice. Thank you to all the folks that have looked out for him over the last few years as Chuck suffered from Dementia.
