Danny N. Livingston

Danny N. Livingston, 87, of Union City Ohio went to heaven on Saturday May 18th, 2024 to meet his savior and Master Carpenter surrounded by love with his family by his side. Danny was born on May 12, 1937, the youngest son of Ora and Elsie Stump Livingston. Danny was a faithful servant and member of the Ansonia First Church of God for over 46 years. Danny and his wife loved to be greeters at the church and were involved with many other activities at the church.

Danny was a lifelong full time farmer. Loved his barn cats and raising tomatoes in his garden. He could repair anything. Danny was a quiet man of very few words. However, when he did speak, his words were full of wisdom and one should take note! One of Danny’s favorite places was his woodworking shop where he produced reproduction furniture for his home, family, friends and businesses. One of his works of art was featured in County Sampler magazine. In his early married life he loved to go deer hunting in Maine with his father-in-law. Danny enjoyed taking his children boating, fishing, water skiing and teaching his grandchildren to drive.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter Monica Lynn. Brothers: Lester Livingston and Melvin “Doc” Livingston. Sisters: Jeanette Rhoades and Florence Bateman.

Survivors include; his high school sweetheart of 67 years, Lois Johnson Livingston, who he married on September 15, 1957. Daughter: Tonya Deeter of Greenville Ohio. Two sons: Eric Livingston of Union City Ohio and Eron (Kim) Livingston of New Weston Ohio. Grandchildren: Tyler (Candace) Hunt, Danielle (Matt) Oliver, Dr. Preston (Jacquelyn) Deeter, Elizabeth (Austin) Coning, Levi Livingston, Luke Livingston and Ella Livingston. Great grandchildren: Liam Oliver, Hattie Hunt, Leighton Deeter, Henry Coning, Caroline Coning and Austin Oliver. One sister: Joan Hime Anderson Indiana.

The family would like to thank all of Danny’s caregivers, especially Everheart Hospice for the respectful and wonderful care they gave him. To the Church family, friends and relatives who brought food, sent cards and made heart-felt phone calls.

A service to celebrate Danny’s life will be at 7 p.m. Friday May 31, 2024 at the Ansonia Church of God, Ansonia Ohio with Pastor Alan Leach officiating. Friends and family may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Church. Burial of Danny’s cremated remains will be at the Greenville Cemetery in a private service at a later date.
