While the world was mourning the great queen of rock and rolls passing. Daniel Richard Field, 65, passed away peacefully with his sister, aunt, and uncle by his side at Genesis hospital on May 24, 2023. Danny as his family called him, enjoyed reading the Bible, an old western, or a good thriller but most of all loved many genres of music and was a legend to his family in his own way …
Danny was born April 5, 1958, to the late Donald Richard Field and Mary Margaret (Jones) Field in Cambridge Ohio. Danny spent a lot of time as a child with his maternal grandparents the late Foster and Gladys Jones on their farm. Danny was a toddler when his grandad taught him to drive the tractor.
Danny graduated Cambridge High School in 1976. He had worked various jobs throughout his life such as Pancake House, Ford Plastics, and his last job was Byesville Aseptics or the juice plant as he called it.
Danny leaves his sister Dawn “Shellee” Field (Luis Bosch) of Cambridge Ohio, his two nephews whom he thought the world of and he passed his love of music onto and referred to him as Uncle D, Carl Field ( Mary Chapman) of Zanesville Ohio and Quentin Field of Cambridge Ohio, and he also leaves behind his uncle and aunt John and Karen Jones of Dover Ohio., and many cousins.
Danny will be greatly missed by his family and loved ones. During his last hours, Shellee played his favorite band Pink Floyd for him. One of the songs lyrics from the album and song Wish you were here ..

Danny was cremated at Leaf Cremation in Columbus.
A Gofundme was set up to take care of final expenses in lieu of flowers https://gofund.me/4beb5057 (https://gofund.me/4beb5057) .
A celebration of life will be held for the family at a later date.
