Daniel Lee Whalen

Daniel Lee “Danny” Whalen, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 17th, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 63. Danny was born on October 7th, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to William Lee and Nancy Lou (Kellin) Whalen. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Nancy, son Joseph Whalen, and daughter Christina Whalen (Julian Valle). He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Whalen of Fort McCoy, FL., Sister Vickie Whalen of Columbus, Ohio., niece Jamie Whalen of Columbus, great nieces Kelly Smallwood (Zach) of Obetz and Cori Whalen of Columbus. Great-great nieces and nephew Malia Whalen, Aria and Jaxon Smallwood. Grandchildren Brittney, Alissia, Adrian, Joshua, Sergio, Breanna, Darnell, Devon and Julia. Great grandchildren Serenity, Jaxon, Xander, MariaElena and a fourth great grandchild due in February 2021. Danny enjoyed many things in life; including playing the guitar and drums, fishing, watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
