Daniel Filion

Daniel Filion, age 60, of Canal Winchester, OH passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, after a brave fight with the COVID virus. He was born on January 10, 1961 in St. Jerome, Quebec, Canada and was the son of Marielle Picard. Dan worked hard in the auto parts industry and could help repair most anything! He was a very talented drummer, a huge rock and roll fan, and had a lifelong hobby of collecting all things trains. He loved spending time with his four children, grandchildren and beautiful wife, Carrie. His family and friends will terribly miss his fun spirit, jokes, helping heart; especially his laugh that could brighten anyone's day. He is survived by his mother Marielle Picard, wife Carrie Filion, daughters Elizabeth Roth and Kayla Filion, sons Daniel Filion and Jonathan Roth, grandchildren Raziel, Lelu, Gaius, Elijah, Melinda, and dogs Layla and Keela. A memorial service to celebrate Dan's life will be held at World Harvest Church, 4595 Gender Road, Canal Winchester, OH, Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 7pm.
