Daniel David Travis

Daniel David Travis at the age of 84 years old went to Heaven on April 4, 2023 in Logan, Ohio with family by his side.

He was in the National Guard branch of the Army where he was a mechanic. He loved to build many things as he was a carpenter by trade and a former member of Local 200 Columbus, Ohio.

Daniel was born in Catlettsburg, Kentucky on October 8,1938. He was the son of the late James and Lura Travis.

He is preceded in death by siblings Leroy Travis, Robert Travis, Les Travis, Betty O'Brien, Edward Travis and Clarence Travis. He is also preceded by granddaughter Vanessa Travis-Nance and great grandson Finley James Fichter and his beloved fur baby Rocky.

Surviving is his wife of 61 years Mary Ella of Logan, Ohio and brother Paul Travis of Jackson, Ohio. Also surviving are children Mary (Dennis) Keels of Logan, Ohio, Bobbie (Owen) Gordon of Upper Arlington, Ohio, Victoria Earley of Logan, Ohio and Melissa (Eric) Roth of Johnstown, Ohio.

Grandchildren Kaitlin (Justin Bolton) Keels, Jennifer (Nicholas) Fichter, Joseph Long, Cassandra Roth, Emily (John Markgraf) Roth, Corey (Christine Yee) Roth, Robert Young, Daniel (Candy Gibson) Young, Brandon (Shyanna) Young, and Marissa (Thurman) Young.

Great grandchildren Veronica Nance, Devlin Nance, Hannah Fichter, Walter Roth, Rian and Mya Neff, Isabella Barberio, Damien Bettes, Max and Sophie Young.

Great-great grandchildren Andrew and Jaxson Nance along with many nieces and nephews.

He always said FAMILY comes first.

He will be sadly missed until we all meet again.
