Dale A Donovan

Dale Andrew Donovan of Westerville, Ohio passed away on February 9, 2022. He was born on March 4, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio and was the son of the late Bernard Donovan and Dorothy Harshman. He was preceded in death by his step father, Moe Harshman and siblings Leroy Donovan (Margene), Richard Donovan (Mary), Dorothy Heller Simison (Richard and Harold), Patricia Flohre (Jack), William Donovan (Erma), Glenn Donovan, Dennis Donovan, and Donald Donovan. He graduated from Sinclair Community College and attended Morehead State University in Kentucky. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War and received a Bronze Star for valor. For many years he worked for Liebert Corporation in Columbus, Ohio. He later worked for Royal American Links Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio and then was co-owner of Donovan’s Pub in Galena, Ohio. For most of his life Dale was an avid golfer. He is survived by his twin brother, David Donovan (Barry Schlaile) and sister Joyce Van Scyoc (Stan), and sisters-in-law Claris Donovan, and Judy Donovan. In addition, he is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great grand nieces and nephews.
