Christopher R Booksh

Christopher Richard Booksh, 68, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on March 12, 2025. He was born on August 1, 1956 to the late Charles L. Booksh, Sr. and the late Daisy Hebert Husereaux in New Orleans, Louisiana. He leaves behind his loving children, Annie (J.B.) Huffman, Ryan (Adriana) Booksh, and Lauren (Gerrod) Galliano; and his grandsons, whom he adored, Jensen Huffman, Finn Huffman, August Galliano, and Luca Galliano. Chris was the beloved brother of Carole Gilder (Roland) Burrs, the late Faith Gilder (Mervin, Sr.) Graves, the late Kathy Merkel, Larry (Brenda) Husereaux, Charles (Randee) Booksh, Jr., Hannah Booksh, Dustin Booksh, Glenn (Tonya) Booksh, Jennifer (Kevin) Beach, Hayes (Jessica) Booksh, and Matthew Booksh. He was a cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Chris loved spending time with his children and grandsons more than anything. He was an avid motorcyclist and craftsman who loved a good cajun meal. He will be remembered for his fun-loving character and his contagious laughter.
